2. Talk With Your Pastor

Meet with your Pastor or Church Leader and share your vision of being a voice for children in need. Get permission for your church to help by holding a Compassion Sunday.

3. Register

Register online or send in the registration form in your Planning Guide and start the journey by confirming the date of your Compassion Sunday today.

4. Spread the Word

Let people in your church know about your Compassion Sunday.

5. Prepare

Prepare your heart with prayer, invite others to help, and think about what you will need the day of your Compassion Sunday presentation.

Top Tips to Spread the Word About Compassion Sunday

• Make announcements in services leading up to your scheduled event.
• Put notices in your church bulletin or newsletter.
• Place the Compassion Sunday poster (included in your Resource Kit) in your church.
• Post an entry about your Compassion Sunday event on Facebook, Twitter, or other social networks you may belong to. If your church has a page on a social network, consider placing an announcement there.
• Show one or all of the four short, powerful clips on the Compassion Sunday DVD in services leading up to your scheduled event.
