Children, their health, and well-being, has always been a passion of mine. Clean water is of ultimate importance for all God's creatures to live. Climbing Kilimanjaro to raise money for the people of Arusha to have clean water sounds like an honorable and huge challenge. This is an exciting adventure for me. Bonus#1-Getting to spend 9 days in the wilderness and at high altitudes with my daughter. I have been married to my soulmate, Chris, for over 26 years now. We have been blessed with five wonderful children ranging in the ages 7 to 22 years. I was born and raised in Virginia where I became a pediatric RN, specializing in the care of babies in the intensive care unit. My family now sponsors 5 children through Compassion. Three live in Kenya.
