October 2014 marks one of those milestone birthdays for me and I didn't want it to pass by with just the typical party. I also didn't want to embark on an adventure solely for my benefit, there is too much wrong in this world to not try and make some positive impact. Access to clean water is a foundational need that holds the key to health, education, and an improved society. So when the possibility was presented to climb Kilimanjaro and impact a community with access to clean water... I had to sign up! Just as I will never reach the summit of Kilimanjaro without the assistance of guides, porters, and supporters; the children of Arusha will never have access to clean water without the resources of those outside of their community. “Come!” say the Spirit and the Bride. Whoever hears, echo, “Come!” Is anyone thirsty? Come! All who will, come and drink, Drink freely of the Water of Life! (Revelation 22:17 MSG)
