In May we start our journey around the world. Our goal is to not only see the world, but to be a part of it. In doing so we've teamed up with several NGOs, Compassion being one of them. We spent the past year saving our pennies to take this trip, and are now taking on the challenge to raise money for 45,000 people in Arusha, Tanzania. Asking for money is admittedly something we have a hard time doing but unfortunately the reality is that 'money is often what makes the world go round'. We're simply asking for a $32 donation from 200 of you to help support this amazing cause by this amazing organization.
We have sponsored a child through Compassion International now for the past 2 years, and look forward to meeting Umazi in Kenya right before we travel to Tanzania. Since this opportunity landed perfectly in the time we had already planned to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro, we took the hint that this was the trip we were supposed to take. The challenge of raising this much money for clean water is a bit daunting for us but with Him, we know that anything is possible.
